Information You Give Us.
Veterinary Technology Solutions (VeTS) has a pay per use website. That means that you must be an authorized EchoVet customer to continue to use our product after the free trial period. The software uses pre-defined customer account data to determine your product set, product pricing, payment preferences, order history and product history. VeTS requires every user of EchoVet to have an individual user account that is joined to their practice account. This is automatically set up during the registration process. We will never request your password, user name, credit card information or other personal information through email. This practice, called “phishing”, is a scam designed to steal your personal information. If you receive an email that looks like it is from us asking you for your personal information, do not respond.

How We Protect the Security of Your Personal Information?
The security of your personal information is very important to us. In our efforts to protect your online transactions, we use a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). If your browser is capable of SSL (and most are), your personal information will be automatically encrypted, or encoded, before it is sent over the internet. VeTS does not store, nor have access to your credit card information, “information”. While VeTS provides a method for your information to be automatically transmitted, this information is not stored by VeTS, and cannot be accessed by VeTS. Credit card information for recurring billing is stored by the payment gateway on their PCI compliant servers. While we do follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it, no methods are 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In any case we do reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our web site.
How Does VeTS Track My Usage?
As is true with most websites and software, we gather information about every use and automatically store this in log files. This information includes IP Addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movements around the site, and track customer activity. Individual patient data is anonymized.
Does VeTS Pass My Account Information To Any Agents?
No. We do not sell or give away any personal information obtained from customers and prospective customers.
